1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use PollSG, we collect your votes, predictions, comments, and engagement activity (likes). We also collect optional demographic information (age range, gender, housing type, income bracket) that you voluntarily provide to enhance poll insights.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To operate the platform — displaying polls, tracking votes, calculating points and streaks
• To generate aggregate demographic insights shown alongside poll results
• To prevent abuse — detecting duplicate votes and enforcing platform rules
• To improve the service — understanding usage patterns and popular categories

3. What We Share

Your individual votes are never publicly displayed with your identity. Poll results are shown only in aggregate. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Sponsored polls may include aggregate demographic breakdowns shared with the sponsor — these never include personally identifiable information.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) in the Asia-Pacific region. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with secure session management.

5. Your Rights

You can request to view, export, or delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your votes are anonymised and your personal data is permanently removed.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
